Apply via Dice today!<br><br>We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Finance and Treasury Technology team. In this critical role, you will design and manage the seamless flow of financial data whether real-time or batch, ensuring that all finance and treasury systems are synchronized. You will design and maintain event-driven architectures on Azure, robust Python development, and provide Level 2 support for mission-critical financial processes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities & Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li> Design, build, and maintain scalable event-driven microservices using Azure Event Hubs, Event Grid, or Service Bus.</li><li> Develop high-performance python processes for real-time financial data processing, reconciliation, and data lifecycle management</li><li> Rapidly build and deploy internal tools using Retool such as Job failure dashboard, or as an admin interface for manually reconciling failed messages.</li><li> Implement schema governance (Azure Schema Registry)</li><li> Manage the idempotent, exactly-once delivery of messages across the bus to ensure financial data integrity between systems.</li><li> Build and maintain APIs and file-based(batch) integrations to connect with legacy systems that do no support real-time streaming.</li><li> Partner with cloud, integration, and data teams to ensure data integrity</li><li> Perform reconciliations and root-cause analysis for data and interface issues; implement preventative fixes and runbooks.</li><li> Gather requirements and deliver enhancements end-to-end (prioritization, UAT, release notes, training) with minimal disruption to close.</li><li> Coordinate with vendors and internal technology teams on patches, upgrades, and releases; validate changes and follow change control practices.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Experience, Skills, & Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li> Azure: Deep experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Storage (Blob/Data Lake).</li><li> Event-Driven Architecture: Proven experience designing asynchronous systems, handling idempotency, and managing dead-letter queues.</li><li> DevOps: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).</li><li> Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure</li><li> Languages: Expert level Python (pandas for data transformation) and strong SQL skills</li><li> Rapid Development: Experience building internal tools and UIs with Retool</li><li> Experience building high-availability, low-latency systems</li><li> Strong analytical troubleshooting skills (reconciliations, data lineage, root-cause analysis).</li><li> Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate technical issues into business impact, options, and next steps.</li><li> Experience with ticketing and change management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Nice to have<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience integrating with Bloomberg, Acadia, FIS feeds</li><li> Experience with capital markets or treasury systems</li><li> Experience operating in SOX-aligned or audit-aware controls for access, change management, and evidence retention.</li><li> Experience supporting integrations between ERP, treasury, and market data tools.</li><li> Workday, treasury systems, or Bloomberg certifications or formal training (or equivalent practical experience).</li></ul>
