AWS & DataDog Engineer - Remote

Job Title: AWS & DataDog Engineer Location: Fully Remote (Central/Eastern Time Zones) Duration: Long-term Contract (12+ months minimum) Rate: $80-$100 USD/hour Overview We are seeking an experienced technical professional with strong AWS and DataDog expertise to join a long-term engagement supporting one of our clients most established enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, business-focused role that requires deep understanding of AWS infrastructure (both on-prem and cloud) and advanced proficiency in DataDog monitoring and observability tools. Key Responsibilities • Design, maintain, and optimize AWS environments spanning on-prem and cloud systems • Implement and manage DataDog monitoring solutions across complex enterprise infrastructures • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and performance issues in real time • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical initiatives with business goals • Develop automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reliability Requirements • 8+ years of professional experience with AWS (including hybrid/on-prem environments) • Proven, enterprise-level experience with DataDog setup, configuration, and optimization • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and monitoring best practices • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Additional Details • Flexible start date, but preference for availability to begin soon • Long-term, stable project with an established enterprise client Important Notice Due to a recent increase in falsified applications, we require applicants to include a link to their LinkedIn profile (or another professional profile) with their application.
