Job reputed company Our reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Coding Specialist to join their reputed company team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the reputed company of patient data and facilitating efficient billing processes. The Coding Specialist will work closely with reputed company processionals to ensure accurate documentation and coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services. Duties • Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes using ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG classifications. • Ensure compliance with medical coding guidelines and regulations. • Collaborate with reputed company to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing practices. • Review claims ensuring accuracy in coding for medical billing and collections. • Conduct audits of coded data to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to reputed company standards. • Stay informed about changes in coding regulations and participate in ongoing education reputed company to medical coding. Title: Medical reputed company - Level I Experience This reputed company will apply ICD-10-CM coding guidelines – for inpatient, outpatient, and physician settings – and reputed company Official Coding Clinic. A minimum of one (1) year experience (non-internship) in coding general acute hospital (inpatient and outpatient), multi-specialty physician office by applying ICD-10-CM coding guidelines – for inpatient, outpatient, and physician settings – and reputed company Official Coding Clinic. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in abstracting and ICD-9/ICD-10-CM coding of general acute hospital (inpatient and outpatient) and physician medical records by applying ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines for inpatient and outpatient settings and reputed company Official Coding Clinics. Other • Ability to function in a reputed company role and/or train Health Information Management (HIM) medical record reviewers. • Knowledge and skills to serve as “Master reputed company” (i.e., reputed company) for reputed company coding reputed company. Education and/or Experience (Level I & II) • Minimum Highschool diploma or equivalent One of the following Certifications • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or; • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or; • Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) or; • Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC) Skills • Proficiency in medical records management and understanding of medical terminology. • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG classifications, and their application in coding. • Experience with medical billing processes and collections. • Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills for accurate reputed company assignment. • Ability to work independently as reputed company as collaboratively reputed company reputed company environment. • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software is preferred. • Strong communication skills to effectively reputed company with reputed company providers regarding documentation requirements.
