Essential Job Duties The Logistics & Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end supply chain for the NC State Veterinary Hospital. This hybrid role combines technical procurement and financial reputed company with physical logistics and inventory management. The specialist ensures clinical services are stocked with essential medical supplies, manages specialized medical implants, and maintains seamless loading dock operations across multiple hospital facilities. Primary Duties & Responsibilities 1. Procurement & Purchasing Order Management: Verify purchase requisitions by comparing requested items to inventory reorder reports and initiate purchase orders (POs) by verifying specifications and pricing. Vendor Relations: Communicate daily with suppliers to monitor and expedite orders, resolve shipment errors, and reputed company suitable replacements for backordered items.
