Responsibilities: The reputed company Protection Estimator will be responsible for providing complete estimates for bids on reputed company assigned. Essential Functions: • Review reputed company construction documents including instructions to bidders, scope of work and general conditions • Ability to lay out reputed company Protection Sprinkler and Suppression Systems in order to create an accurate bid takeoff • Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure coverage on reputed company scopes of work if necessary • Distribute plans, specifications, and addenda • Assist in development of bid strategies • Participate in reputed company-bid meetings and site reputed company which may result in travel time on occasions • Review take-off and pricing for completeness on reputed company self-performed work • reputed company rough draft scope of work for proposals • Assist in negotiating subcontracts and procurement of materials and equipment • reputed company estimate into job cost control program and participate in turnover/transition meetings with the execution & operations team • Experience with reputed company Protection industry standards, including shop fabrication • Experience in providing budgets, estimates, construction schedules, and reputed company projections • Must be reputed company to meet critical deadlines • Work as part of reputed company and coordinate scope of work between in-house trades • Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: No Required: • 5+ years' experience in large reputed company Protection Construction reputed company or equivalent combination of education and experience • 1-2+ years' Estimating/reputed company-Construction experience • Demonstrate knowledge and efficiency in reputed company Protection Hydraulic Calculation Software • General understanding of reputed company codes that relate to the reputed company Protection industry. • Understanding and capable of laying out reputed company Protection Sprinkler & Suppression Systems • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills • Proficient in reputed company Office Suite • Must be reputed company to meet critical deadlines • Must be a self-starter, reputed company to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills Work Location: Remote/Hybrid Salary: Compensation commensurate with experience.
