eDiscovery Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is seeking a eDiscovery Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As a member of the eDiscovery team, the eDiscovery Specialist is a dynamic role within the firm responsible for eDiscovery support services for the entire lifecycle of a case, from identification and collection of data through review and production. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: • Work closely with legal team to develop and maintain strategy for effective handling of data from identification and collection through review and production. • Manage large diverse collections of e-mails, images, and native files in combination with database management. • Assist and guide users with problems and questions throughout the entire process. • Work in partnership with Project Teams Manager, other Project Managers and provides work to the group’s Specialists and Analysts. • Accurately observe all standard E-Discovery Technology conventions and best practices, such as deduplication, other methods of culling of data, time zone management, including the application of complex search queries and criteria. • Maintain back-end server and folder structure of databases, image collections, native files, mail stores and load files. • Assist with testing existing as well as new software patches. • Understand and maintain the confidentiality of all matters involved. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or solid equivalent in a senior-level eDiscovery role. • Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience in law firm or vendor eDiscovery project management and/or data analyst role. • Experience setting up fields, choices, Views, and Layouts in Relativity. • Understand and navigate through Relativity interface and can provide user support for document review such as creating saved searches, and creating batches for case team review. • Ability to meet competing deadlines, which are assigned from various stakeholders. • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additional Qualifications: • Certified Electronic Discovery Specialists (CEDS) certification is preferred. • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is preferred. • Subject Matter Expert to help the setup, launch, adoption, training and best practices for Sas Viya. • Experience in the VA and ability to obtain a government clearance.
