About Us English360 is an online language school based in Toronto, Canada. Our students are mostly Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking immigrants based in Canada and the US. We deliver classes in small groups (up to 6 students) and one-on-one formats. Our focus includes IELTS and CELPIP preparation, so experience with these exams is a strong asset. We work mostly with adults, experience with children will be an asset. Role Summary The position is remote and primarily requires availability on weekdays and occasional weekend mornings/day hours, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Evening availability (after 7 PM EST) is essential due to high demand. As you're going to work with beginners and lower-intermediate learners, fluency in Russian is required to facilitate effective communication and instruction. Lessons must be conducted in accordance with the school’s approach and methodology. However, we also encourage creativity and give instructors the freedom to design engaging and interactive classes on our learning platform. Core study materials are provided, and instructors are welcome to supplement them with additional resources of their choice. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging online lessons using Zoom and its tools (e.g., screen sharing, annotation) • Create personalized lesson plans tailored to students' goals, timelines, and levels • Teach general ESL as well as prepare students for exams like IELTS and CELPIP • Adapt content and delivery to suit both private and small group formats • Track student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly • Simplify complex concepts for beginner-level learners • Use AI tools and online resources to create current, customized learning materials • Follow company methodology and contribute to maintaining high teaching standards • Participate in team communication and continuous professional development Qualifications and Requirements • Fluency in Russian (Ukrainian is a plus) • Fluent in English with clear, articulate pronunciation • Strong knowledge of English grammar • Confident in using Zoom, including its interactive features • Ability to teach using a communicative approach • Proficiency with AI and online tools (e.g., Google Docs, PowerPoint Online etc). • Experienced in teaching ESL and exam prep (IELTS/CELPIP preferred) • Ability to create personalised study programs based on student level, needs and interests • Skilled at working with both beginners and intermediate learners • Organized and able to manage teaching responsibilities in a team and independently • Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quality headset/microphone Why Join English360? • Flexible work hours • Competitive pay • Fully remote position • Professional academic support and ongoing training • Positive and stress-free work environment • Orientation and methodology training provided • Classes are recorded for feedback, student monitoring, and quality control Additional Information • Probation period: 3 months (may be shortened based on performance and student feedback) • Teaching load will increase gradually during the first month • Instructors must deliver well-prepared lessons and uphold our standards Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 10 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
