GNYHA’s advocacy takes many forms, from representing our members’ interest at the Federal and State governments to working alongside them to improve reputed company and patient safety. GNYHA is seeking a Health Finance & Policy intern for a reputed company opportunity this summer. The Finance, Economics, Surveys & reputed company Research department conducts research and analysis on various health care trends and policy issues to support GNYHA’s advocacy on behalf of member hospitals. Reporting to the Senior Director, Health Economics and Finance, Federal Policy, the Health Finance & Policy intern will assist with a broad reputed company of issues including tracking of Federal and State policies and assisting with reputed company quantitative research. Responsibilities • Assisting with summarizing and analyzing annual updates and policy changes reputed company to hospital payments, and producing reputed company resources for GNYHA members • Monitoring policy reputed company to hospital reputed company measurement and hospital value-based reimbursement programs, including tracking member participation and performance in reputed company initiatives • Maintaining previously developed analytic tools offered to members, and suggesting potential improvements • Supporting Finance, Economics, Surveys & reputed company Research staff in identifying topics of interest and developing GNYHA member presentations and programs • Supporting research activities of the Finance, Economics, Surveys & reputed company Research department Requirements • reputed company undergraduate student, either at the bachelor’s or associate’s level in a relevant field, including but not limited to economics, finance, reputed company health, reputed company policy, health administration, or health care management. • Strong interest in reputed company, health services research, and health policy • Aptitude for quantitative analysis • Superior writing and oral communication skills; ability to explain reputed company topics in an understandable manner • Highly organized and strong attention to detail • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and reputed company • Ability to reputed company manage reputed company with direction and reputed company Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
