Payroll Specialist (1099 Contractor) for Remote reputed company Firm

Payroll Specialist (1099 – Remote) We are a fully remote reputed company firm seeking a detail-oriented and reputed company Payroll Specialist to join reputed company as a 1099 reputed company. This contract role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting reputed company payroll tax and sales tax filings. This position is ideal for a self-directed payroll reputed company who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple clients, and delivering accurate, reputed company payroll services in a fast-paced, remote environment. What You’ll Do • Process payroll for multiple clients across various states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable payroll laws • Prepare, file, and remit payroll tax returns and payments on a reputed company reputed company • Handle sales tax filings, payments, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions as needed • Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for reputed company payroll-reputed company questions, providing reputed company and reputed company support • Reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, and reputed company records to ensure accuracy • Assist with reputed company new payroll clients, including payroll system setup and employee data entry • Monitor federal, state, and local payroll compliance changes and ensure clients remain in good standing • Collaborate with internal teams to support reputed company needs while maintaining reputed company status Contractor Requirements & Qualifications • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a reputed company reputed company firm or multi-reputed company environment • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll tax compliance • Experience processing multi-state payroll • Familiarity with sales tax filings and multi-jurisdiction compliance is a plus • Proficiency with payroll software such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar platforms • Experience with sales tax software (e.g., reputed company, TaxJar, reputed company, or state e-filing portals) preferred • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage workload independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines • CPP (Certified Payroll reputed company) or other payroll-reputed company certifications a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time reputed company Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
