Build Sheet Analyst (Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning)

Location: Remote (Candidates within 30 miles of Herndon, VA may be required onsite 3 days per week) Duration: 6 Month Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire) Start Date: ASAP Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship Required (No Dual Citizenship) Overview Our client is seeking a Build Sheet Analyst to support cloud infrastructure provisioning by translating software entitlements into detailed infrastructure build specifications. This role will work closely with operations, engineering, and cloud infrastructure teams to ensure provisioning documentation is accurate, standardized, and aligned with internal deployment frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working with technical documentation, cloud infrastructure concepts, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Build Sheet Creation & Documentation • Translate purchased cloud software entitlements into detailed infrastructure build specifications used for automated provisioning. • Generate standardized build sheets using internal automation and documentation tools. • Ensure build specifications align with internal provisioning standards and architecture requirements. Process & Collaboration • Facilitate review sessions with cloud operations and engineering teams to validate build sheet accuracy prior to provisioning. • Coordinate with operations build teams to ensure build sheets meet deployment standards. • Partner with solution architecture and asset management teams to resolve specification discrepancies. Process Improvement & Quality Control • Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to build sheet creation and validation. • Own the build sheet validation process and quality checklist to ensure provisioning accuracy. • Identify process gaps and collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation standards and automation workflows. Reporting & Knowledge Management • Maintain a build sheet tracking log to monitor performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities. • Produce monthly reporting for leadership covering build sheet accuracy, operational metrics, and improvement initiatives. • Build and maintain a SharePoint-based knowledge repository containing documentation, procedures, and operational artifacts. Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Coordination • Work with cloud platform teams to understand infrastructure requirements tied to enterprise software entitlements. • Support pre-deployment qualification processes that capture system landscape and provisioning requirements. • Collaborate with infrastructure and asset management teams to resolve specification or entitlement discrepancies. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics, or equivalent professional experience. • 3-4 years of experience working in an analyst or technical documentation role. • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience managing complex technical information. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts, cloud computing, software platforms, and enterprise systems. • Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: • Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Microsoft Azure • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with enterprise cloud ERP environments from a systems landscape perspective. • Understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) operational models. • Knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure including: • Networking • Storage • Windows Server / Linux environments • Monitoring and infrastructure management tools • Experience working within a managed services or cloud operations environment. #ZR Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
