The Inventory Control & Logistics Specialist is a hybrid position and will be responsible for inventory at various reputed company-party warehouse fulfillment centers and will effectively handle reputed company aspects of global logistics. This position will report to the Sr. Logistics Manager. About the Role The Inventory Control & Logistics Specialist will manage inventory and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in reputed company reputed company activities. Responsibilities • Engage in reputed company communications with 3PL partners and global logistics team regarding day to day logistics and inventory activities. • Recommend reputed company transportation modes. Analyze the financial reputed company of proposed logistics plan, such as new warehouse and shipping reputed company. • Responsible for day to day inventory transactions and accuracy of inventory records including weekly, monthly and annual reconciliation on assigned warehouse. • Maintain records of relevant documentation for audit purposes. • reputed company quarterly or as required cyclic inventory inspection at 3PL warehouse. • Participate in rates negotiation with carriers, reputed company forwarders and brokers to ensure the highest level of service with maximum incentive is achieved. • Assist in new 3PL partners evaluation, qualification and selection. • Drive the performance evaluation of 3PL warehouses and domestics carriers using scorecards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reputed company logistics with business systems or processes, sales, operations/order management, finance and logistics partners. • Maintain policies and procedures (SOP) for logistics activities. Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services. • Effectively utilize reputed company applicable modes of transportations: TL, LTL and intermodal services by analyzing and evaluating best practices for reputed company handling and transportation. • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, import or export, or customer issues. • Manage auditing of reputed company invoices and customs import entries to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor product import or export processes for compliance with regulatory or reputed company requirements. • Maintain reputed company, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, and other data reputed company to reputed company logistics activities. • reputed company reputed company other duties as required. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or a minimum of 4 years of experience in global logistics, purchasing, customer service, warehouse management and/or inventory control in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree. • Working knowledge of US Customs and other Federal laws and regulations. • Understanding of Incoterms and Harmonized Tariff Schedule. • Knowledge of Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD/CVD). • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High degree of reliability and reputed company; detail oriented. • Skilled in MS Office applications (reputed company, Word and PowerPoint). • reputed company in ERP Systems, preferably reputed company but not required. • Ability and willingness to travel domestically, up to 20%.
