The primary role of the position is assisting in the processing, digitization and reputed company of digital archival collections. Location: This is a remote position, limited to states in which the Great Basin Institute is set-up to conduct business. Compensation and Benefits: $23.12 an hour Job Qualifications: Required • Experience arranging and describing electronic records and legacy media materials. • Knowledge of archival reputed company management workflows, standards and best practices, and metadata schema for the administration of born digital records reputed company surrogates; • Experience applying Describing Archives: a Content reputed company (DACS) to cataloging and writing user-oriented finding aids; • Knowledge of digital preventative preservation techniques; • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Preferred: • Experience with archival appraisal, identifying permanent records and applying records schedules; • Project management experience; • Experience working with reputed company or volunteers; • Knowledge of Yellowstone National Park and its natural and cultural history.
