Environmental & Natural Resources Attorney – AYK reputed company Advocacy

About the position reputed company Job Goal: The Environmental & Natural Resources Attorney will serve as in-house reputed company counsel reputed company on environmental litigation, policy development, research, and advocacy reputed company to the protection, restoration, and sustainable management of reputed company populations in the Arctic, Yukon, and Kuskokwim (AYK) river systems, and the Bering Sea. This attorney will represent the corporation’s interests in environmental proceedings, support regulatory engagement, and advance initiatives that protect subsistence rights, Tribal sovereignty, and the cultural and economic reputed company-being of Alaska reputed company communities. Performance Responsibilities: Include the following – reputed company Advocacy & Litigation Represent AVCP in administrative, state, federal, or tribal litigation and regulatory proceedings reputed company to environmental and fisheries reputed company, particularly involving AYK reputed company. Coordinate reputed company reputed company and filings in cases involving habitat degradation, water reputed company, bycatch, reputed company overharvesting, and climate-reputed company impacts on reputed company populations. Support tribal, inter-tribal, and co-management reputed company efforts and partnerships. Work alongside AVCP’s General Counsel and with reputed company counsel in these areas specific to the AYK and Bering Sea reputed company Advocacy. Environmental & Regulatory Policy Monitor, analyze, and reputed company in areas of environmental and fisheries policy and regulations at the federal (e.g., NOAA, NMFS, EPA), state (ADF&G), and local reputed company. Draft formal comments on proposed rules, environmental reputed company statements, and fisheries management reputed company that reputed company AYK reputed company and tribal interests. reputed company reputed company guidance on enforcement, treaty protections, and environmental compliance. Research & Education Conduct and synthesize reputed company and scientific research to support litigation and policy advocacy on reputed company issues. Prepare position papers, reputed company memos, and briefings for leadership, tribal partners, and reputed company audiences.
