The New York Auto
Museum (NYAM) and its nonprofit arm, the New York Auto Experience Inc. (NYAE), are seeking visionary leaders, enthusiasts, and professionals to help develop this new iconic landmark in New York City.
We are building a community-driven endeavor to celebrate automotive history and support educational initiatives for NYC school districts.
Ways to Contribute: we are looking for dedicated participants to offer their time, talent, and resources in the following capacities:
Strategic Ideation: Help co-develop plans and ideate new concepts for the museum's creation.
Professional Expertise: Share your professional knowledge and skills to operate in a constant state of advancement for our goals.
Networking & Advocacy: Engage your personal community and industry contacts to identify potential donors, advocates, and partners.
Educational Support: Help develop the nonprofit's educational activities for Greater New York City School Districts.
Resource Development: Actively participate in fundraising and resource-building activities.
Open Positions & Participation Tiers, vailable roles include: PER MONTH
Pro-Bono Lawyer, in-kind service 4–6 Hours
Brand Ambassador 4–6 Hours
Board of Advisors 4–6 Hours
Board of Directors Officer 6–12 Hours
Committee Member: 4–6 Hours
Committee Director: 4–6 Hours
Committee Chairman 6–12 Hours
Honorary Chairman 4–6 Hours
Benefits, Equity & Commissions: Earn equity in the Experience Center’s for-profit corporation and performance commissions for successful corporate alliances or sponsorships.

Tax Advantages: Receive a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible receipt for all financial contributions.
Liability Protection: Director & Officer (D&O) insurance is provided for all eligible participants.
Requirements for Involvement Confidentiality: Sign a Non-Competition/Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Active Engagement: Attend at least 75% of board/committee meetings.
Financial Stewardship: Treat the organization as one of your top 3 charitable commitments

• *Qualifications**
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with skills in scheduling and administrative support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear correspondence and meeting facilitation
• Experience in project management and event planning
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, video conferencing software, and other related technological platforms
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support leadership initiatives
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a remote work environment
• Prior experience in nonprofit or museum operations is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred
