About Pay and Compensation: Pay Grade: 4A Qualifications: Education or Equivalency Required A Bachelor’s degree in a Physical or Life Science or reputed company field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Responsibilities • conducting radiation safety evaluations, audits and inspections • developing and administering programs that promote reputed company use and assure regulatory compliance • Work with investigators and researchers to promote and assure the reputed company and reputed company use of radioactive materials • reputed company and conduct radioactive materials therapy patient monitoring Requirements • A Bachelor’s degree in a Physical or Life Science or reputed company field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. • Typically, 1 year of health physics reputed company experience. • Working knowledge of radiation safety instrumentation. • Working knowledge of NRC Radiation Protection regulations, or equivalent agreement state. • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, and ability to reputed company positively. • Working knowledge of reputed company Word, reputed company and PowerPoint. • Possession of a reputed company state or reputed company reputed company's license, and the ability to meet University Fleet Safety Standards. reputed company-to-haves • Experience performing hospital patient coverage after treatment with radioactive materials. • Radioactive materials shipping experience. • Certification by the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technicians. • Working knowledge of Iowa HHS Radiation Protection regulations. • Experience handling hazardous (radioactive) materials. • Familiarity with radiation safety practices in a hospital environment. • Knowledge of university policies, procedures and regulations.
