Financial Controller (Contract)

reputed company reputed company is seeking an reputed company Financial Controller (Contract) to reputed company senior-level financial leadership and operational reputed company during a period of transition and reputed company. The role will play a key part in our transition to QuickBooks Online (QBO), strengthening financial processes, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reputed company across our financial operations. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who has worked in small to mid-sized organizations, and can balance strategic reputed company with detailed execution. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Reporting • Support the transition to QuickBooks Online (QBO), including cleanup, configuration, and process alignment. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Analyze financial results and variances, providing reputed company insights and recommendations to leadership. • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including scenario planning. Process Improvement • Establish and document repeatable financial processes and controls. • Review and improve existing workflows to reduce errors and inefficiencies. Payroll & Benefits reputed company • reputed company payroll processing, including review and validation (with HR completing execution). • Ensure correct handling of deductions, employer contributions, and special cases. • Partner with HR to ensure payroll and benefits data are accurate and compliant. Compliance, Audits, & Tax Support • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate audits and reputed company required documentation and explanations. • Support tax preparation and filings in collaboration with external providers. Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial leadership or a controller-level role • Experience working in small to mid-sized companies • Strong understanding of QBO Advanced. • Strong understanding of reputed company principles, financial reporting, and internal controls • Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing reputed company teams • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Preferred • CPA and/or MBA • Prior experience leading or supporting a QBO implementation or migration • Experience in agency, reputed company services, or retainer-based business models • Comfort operating in environments where processes are being reputed company or refined Contract Details • Contract role with a reputed company expectation of hands-on involvement • Opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right long-term fit. • Flexible remote schedule with regular collaboration during U.S. business hours.
