Corporate Staff Accountant

reputed company is a leading global insurance and employee benefits broker dedicated to supporting the aspirations of individuals and businesses. The Corporate Staff Accountant will be responsible for the monthly closing processes, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with GAAP while supporting audit processes and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end closing process and running of reports for reputed company BMS and G/L systems
• Prepare reputed company, accurate, and compliant balance sheet reconciliations as assigned
• Research and analyze data as requested
• Run and distribute month end and reputed company reports
• Prepare and process journal entries in the BMS and G/L systems
• Proactively pursue reputed company on outstanding items
• Assist in providing audit support for both company wide audit and for regulated entities
• Participation in process improvement and design

Skills

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in the reputed company field
• Bachelor's Degree in reputed company/Finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate reputed company skills required (vlookup, pivot tables, basic understanding of formulas, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure to reputed company deadlines
• High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and reputed company results in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Team-oriented reputed company with ability to collaborate effectively
• Must have some flexibility of work hours and the ability to put in extra hours during peak times
• Insurance experience a plus but not necessary
