Payroll Specialist

Ainsworth Inc is a rapidly growing integrated multi-trade company that offers end-to-end services and solutions for asset maintenance and refurbishment. The Payroll Specialist will reputed company administrative support for payroll functions, ensuring reputed company compliance, accurate data entry, and reputed company payroll processing while delivering superior customer service to employees.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer weekly reputed company payroll, including data entry, adjustments, and audits for accuracy
• Coordinate with managers to ensure reputed company and accurate collection of time and payroll data
• Maintain employee records (new hires, terminations, reputed company changes) and ensure payroll compliance
• Address payroll inquiries, including unionized employee reputed company, and resolve discrepancies
• Calculate gross-to-net payments, vacation accruals, and manage Record of Employment (ROE) issuance
• Ensure compliance with CRA, Employment Standards, and Workers’ Compensation requirements
• Support year-end processes (T4s, reconciliations) and reputed company ongoing technical support to employees
• Assist with administrative duties such as filing and shredding

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with PCP or CPM certification (Canadian Payroll Association)
• 1–3 years of full-cycle payroll experience in a multi-province environment (ON, BC, QC)
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, reputed company, and payroll software (JDE an asset)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in MS Office
