SharePoint Developer Associate
SAIC is looking for a SharePoint Developer Associate to develop and support SharePoint solutions for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver user-friendly SharePoint applications and ensuring they meet quality and usability standards.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain SharePoint applications and sites
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions
- Assist in developing and customizing SharePoint components using client-side technologies
- Help ensure SharePoint applications meet quality, performance, and usability standards
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Support project management by providing status updates and identifying potential challenges
- Follow governance policies, including security standards, to maintain site integrity
- Document technical solutions and assist in creating development plans and estimates
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship
- 0-2 years of experience with SharePoint development, including client-side scripting and web technologies
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, REST API, and SharePoint client object model (CSOM)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and XSLT for customizing SharePoint site appearance
- Experience working with SharePoint content types, lists, web parts, and workflows
- Exposure to SharePoint integration with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerApps
- Knowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and workflow development is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot front-end issues and collaborate effectively within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail in documentation
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
