Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements while performing month-end reputed company tasks and assisting in the preparation of financial reports and audits.

Responsibilities

• reputed company month-end reputed company, including journal entry preparation and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
• Prepare variance analysis during the month-end reviews
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes submitted to Berkshire Hathaway, Inc
• Assist external audit and tax teams by preparing schedules, explaining supporting material and procedures, and any other data as needed
• Assist with monthly sales tax filings, census reporting, and business license renewals
• Cross-departmental collaboration and communication on various reputed company and tasks
• Assist Global Payroll Analyst with bi-weekly payroll processing needs

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• 0-2 years of general reputed company experience, reputed company reputed company preferred
• Intermediate to advanced reputed company level with reputed company reputed company, PowerPoint and Word required
• CPA, or currently sitting for CPA a plus
• reputed company and Hyperion experience a plus
