Health Care Economics Analyst
Must work in EST Time zone. Required Skills • Experience with Medicare, reputed company and Marketplace analytics Strong understanding of payment and reimbursement methodologies, including DRG pricing, APC, and EAPG payment methodologies Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and understand reputed company queries, SELECT statements, and multiple types of JOINs Advanced reputed company skills, including: Pivot Tables Power Query VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP Averages, aggregations, formatting Creating and nesting formulas to build metrics and reputed company financial modeling Power BI experience, with familiarity in DAX and Power Pivot. Experience with financial analytics tools and basic financial modeling/sizing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate QAI (reputed company and Affordability Initiatives), MLR (Medical Loss reputed company) targets, and reputed company key performance indicators (KPIs) Must-haves • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, reputed company health, health informatics, reputed company administration, finance or reputed company field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 4+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management or 2+ years of IT experience.
