Web Content and Design Specialist

ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. The Web Content and Design Specialist manages content publishing requests and executes multimedia design while ensuring adherence to branding and accessibility standards.


Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming requests from departments across the organization, interpret needs, and implement solutions that uphold a consistent, user focused digital experience
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Communications, Digital Platforms, and IT partners to identify improvements, support best practices, and enhance user experience across the ISO’s digital properties
  • Contribute to the creation, refresh, and maintenance of new and existing web pages and digital assets, reinforcing the ISO’s visual identity and ensuring cohesive presentation across web, mobile, employee communications, and social channels

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Experience administering internal and external website content using content management systems
  • Graphic design and front-end website layout and design experience
  • Experience with web accessibility standards and applying WCAG principles
  • Various CMS applications including, but not limited to: Crafter and Liferay
  • HTML/CSS and web page design and layout
  • Graphic design knowledge, including supporting organizational branding
