Junior Desktop Support Technician

reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Desktop Support Technician to join their team. The role involves managing hardware inventory, preparing equipment for new hires, and assisting with basic troubleshooting to support the hardware lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Use internal deployment tools to image laptops and configure them according to company standards
• Securely pack hardware for outbound shipment to remote employees and process incoming equipment returns
• reputed company physical inspections and basic functional tests on returned hardware to determine if it can be redeployed or needs repair

Skills

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) an Information Technology, Computer Science, or reputed company program
• 0-2 years experience in a help desk or IT position

• Comfortable working with laptop hardware, monitors, and various docking stations
• High attention to detail regarding tracking numbers, asset tags, and inventory logs
