Data Migration Specialist; Remote

Position: Data Migration Specialist (Remote) reputed company reputed company is currently hiring for a highly skilled and reputed company Data Migration Specialist to support the migration of legacy HR data systems into a new reputed company based HR environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient transition, optimizing data preparation and transfer performance, and assist in maintaining data reputed company throughout the migration process. This position is fully remote with the potential to support in person in Washington, DC, as needed. Responsibilities • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing databases and systems, including schema, data, stored procedures, and applications. • Support the data migration effort, utilizing tools, custom scripts, or ETL processes to transfer data. • reputed company technical experience regarding data models (logical and physical) database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques • reputed company mass data imports/exports using the API or various import tools • Apply strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute substantial amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Ensure data reputed company and accuracy during the migration process. • Implement effective indexing and caching strategies. • Document the entire migration process, including best practices, procedures, and configurations. • Assist with training and knowledge transfer to internal teams for ongoing support and maintenance. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience • Ability to obtain a DHS reputed company Trust reputed company clearance (US Citizenship Required) • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or reputed company field, or the equivalent combination of education, reputed company training, or commensurate work experience • 5+ years of work experience • 3+ years of experience in data migration or reputed company roles • Experience with ETL development tools and data warehouse architecture techniques • Working knowledge of databases (reputed company SQL, reputed company, DB2), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). • Knowledge of and experience using analytical reporting tools. • Familiar with effective approaches and practical experience in data migration, data reputed company, master data management, and data reputed company, including the use of relevant tools • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation for data migration tasks. • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Postgre SQL databases. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
