Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst and Writer to join our content team at Blitz Sports Media. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compelling written content while analyzing key sports data to deliver engaging, informative, and actionable insights. • Write engaging and informative articles, guides, and analysis for NFL, CFB, Fantasy Football, DFS plays, and gaming content. • Analyze player stats, team performance, game trends, and Betting matchups to generate relevant insights and predictions. • Stay updated with the latest trends, player performances, team news, and changes in fantasy football or Betting landscapes to produce timely and relevant content. • Understand and cater to our audience's needs by crafting content that is not only analytical but also accessible and engaging for a broad range of readers. • Work with other writers, analysts, and the editorial team to ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and meets the platform’s standards. • Suggest content ideas based on the latest industry trends, user interests, and key sporting events. • Ensure that all written content is optimized for search engines, helping increase visibility and engagement on the platform. Qualifications • Deep understanding of NFL, CFB, Fantasy Football, Betting strategies, and gaming trends. • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and well-researched articles and analysis. • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex sports data to generate actionable insights. • Ability to spot trends and nuances in sports data and write content that addresses specific audience needs. • Experience with publishing and managing content on a digital platform. • Understanding of search engine optimization best practices and how to apply them to content creation. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the editorial and analytics teams. • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Requirements • Previous experience producing social media content in the NFL or Fantasy Football space. • Previous experience as a player or relevant degree is a plus. • Proficiency with data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and sports databases (e.g., SportsRadar, FantasyPros, etc.).
