Engineering Manager – Azure, AI/ML, API Engineering, Healthcare

Job Description: • Build & Architect Design and deliver scalable APIs, microservices, and integration pipelines • Develop cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Entra ID, API Management) • Lead architecture for event-driven and distributed systems • Drive AI & MLOps Innovation Implement AI/ML-enabled services and automation workflows • Build and scale MLOps pipelines (Azure ML, MLflow, Databricks) • Develop PoCs and bring emerging technologies into production • Guide and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in code and design • Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and engineering excellence • Build systems aligned with HIPAA, PHI/PII protection, and healthcare standards • Implement interoperability frameworks such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI Requirements: • 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity • Strong hands-on experience with: Python and/or Node.js • Azure cloud ecosystem • API design (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and event-driven architecture • Proven experience in AI/ML or AI integration frameworks • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (required) • Familiarity with: FHIR, HL7, EDI, or healthcare interoperability • OAuth2, JWT, Entra ID (identity & security) • Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized systems Benefits: • Direct impact on patient care through modern engineering and AI • Hands-on leadership —you won't be removed from the technology • Work at the intersection of AI, cloud, and healthcare transformation • Fully remote with a mission-driven, high-caliber team Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
