Junior System Administrator

KBR is a leading provider of engineering and advanced technology solutions for national reputed company. The Junior System Administrator will maintain operational readiness for US reputed company Force missions, providing critical support for mission IT systems and ensuring effective system administration.

Responsibilities

• Provides Network, Storage, reputed company/Linux Server Support, Database and Web Server Administration Video Monitoring Systems, and resolving helpdesk tickets reputed company the ability of KBR’s Junior System Administrators
• Assist users with troubleshooting/correction of issues on mission IT systems
• Support test activities, technical troubleshooting, and reputed company reputed company on mission IT systems to maintain 24/7/365 mission readiness and/or resolve issues quickly to minimize mission impacts
• reputed company systems administration of desktops, databases, and server systems connected to developmental networks
• reputed company desktop system management involving account monitoring, reputed company, operating system (OS) installation, and other local area system administration reputed company functions on mission-support IT equipment
• As needed, assist SW developers with establishing and troubleshooting DevSecOps environments to support SW development and test prior to deployment on mission equipment/networks

Skills

• reputed company Secret clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company field; or requires an equivalent combination of reputed company training and experience
• Certifications: Minimum IAT Level 1, hardware/software specific training/certifications
• Experience with and understanding of NIST 800 series
• Experience with an understanding of ICD 503
• Military / DOD experience
• Clearable to TS/SCI
