Embedded Software Engineer I

The Embedded Software Engineer will design, build, and optimize embedded systems for reputed company fitness equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Product Management to collaborate on requirements and recommended implementations
• Participates as a key functional team member as part of the integrated project team
• Designs and codes software to meet requirements
• Follows industry reputed company practices of conducting design reviews, reputed company walk throughs, unit level testing, and integration testing
• Works closely with the Software reputed company Assurance team to test, troubleshoot, resolve, and release production software
• Ensures reputed company response to production and customer issues
• Applies intensive and reputed company knowledge of engineering principles in broad areas of assignments and reputed company fields
• Assists in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
• Supports the development of engineering reputed company concerned with unique or challenging designs which have an important effect on major company initiatives

Skills

• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or reputed company discipline
• Strong understanding of software design, reputed company, and architecture approaches
• Knowledge of software engineering principles
• Experience with C/C++ software development
• Experience developing using embedded Linux; Ability to effectively reputed company and work in a reputed company Linux reputed company environment preferred
• Capable of using git for software version control
• reputed company to write and maintain unit tests using reputed company Test/Mock preferred
• Knowledge of kernel interfaces at a userspace level and interacting with Linux kernel drivers preferred

• Familiarity with Jira and Jenkins
• Understanding of what a BSP is, how it applies to a development process, and what goes into managing one
