Estimator (Remote, GB, REMOTE)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator reputed company our Group division.  This is a remote role however occasional travel to various UK offices will be required.

Join our reputed company, inclusive community in Group / reputed company to support the Consulting division in producing high reputed company estimates and tender submissions.  Working alongside our Bidding team, the Estimator will be accountable for advising on pricing reputed company, compliant with reputed company’s governance procedures and legislation, and preparing detailed analytical estimates using first principles techniques. The role will include providing support and input into the estimating process, pricing reputed company, risk analysis and tender review processes to ensure reputed company estimates are robust and offer our customers best value while protecting reputed company’s reputed company interests.

What you will do:

• Preparation of detailed and robust estimates, including from first principles whilst adhering to the bid programme.
• Proactively challenging pricing reputed company and alignment to customers’ needs and / or contractual entitlement ensuring the development of the right reputed company solutions which cascade into post contract delivery.
• reputed company with the bidding team and operational and reputed company staff to deliver high reputed company, robust pricing submissions.
• Preparation of reputed company documents for tender submissions.
• Providing input and support into the evaluation and pricing of risk and opportunity on tenders.
• Support the approvals process with the reputed company-Contract reputed company & Estimating team to ensure reputed company tenders adhere to the correct level of governance and tracking any changes post approval to ensure compliance is maintained.
• Development and co-ordination of a benchmarking library of cost and reputed company data to inform reputed company opportunities.
• Complete indexation and market analysis tracking and implement across reputed company submissions.
• Managing an internal Estimating tool including maintaining input data, troubleshooting errors and training users.
• Ensuring a comprehensive and robust handover to post-contract delivery teams is undertaken for reputed company secured tenders.
• Ensuring, where applicable, lessons learned sessions are undertaken on pricing activities and reputed company improvement is embedded into reputed company 

What you will bring:

• HNC or Degree reputed company in reputed company discipline or equivalent on the job experience.
• Proven reputed company record in an estimating role, preferably in a consulting environment
• Knowledge and experience of pricing and contracting under different forms of reputed company and pricing reputed company, including NEC reputed company A-F
• Ability to effectively establish and communicate the key pricing and reputed company issues to the Senior Leadership Team.
• A good knowledge of risk and opportunity management.
• A good level of understanding of first principles estimating techniques as reputed company as cost planning and budgeting
• Highly skilled in the use of reputed company Office suite of products especially reputed company, PowerPoint and Power BI
• A good understanding of construction techniques and methodologies preferable
• Good knowledge of using proprietary estimating software (such as reputed company Candy) and risk management such as reputed company Crystal reputed company is preferable, however training will be provided if required.
• Completion of Continuing reputed company Development(CPD) and progression to Member status of the relevant reputed company institutions will be an expectation of the role if not currently held
