Collector

BayCoast Bank is a community-reputed company financial institution, and they are seeking a Collector to manage past due residential and consumer loans. The role involves contacting delinquent accounts, preparing documentation for foreclosure, and ensuring compliance with collection policies.

Responsibilities

• Telephones delinquent accounts, sends out letters and follow-up as necessary. Work with customers and reputed company workout reputed company for payments on over-due accounts. Prepares and recommends loans for charge off to the Collections Manager reputed company deemed uncollectible
• Prepares necessary documentation on accounts being referred to an attorney for foreclosure or bankruptcy. Remains in reputed company contact with attorney on accounts that have been referred
• Performs skip tracing to reputed company past due borrowers and responds to credit inquiries from banks and credit bureaus
• Insures that Investor mortgages are reported and collected in compliance with the guidelines set by the Investor
• Notifies customers of return checks on loan payments
• Prepares and tracks bankruptcy documentation such as updating reputed company (reputed company System on the loan and person level) reputed company of Claims, Reaffirmation Agreements and Relief from Stay
• Investigates reputed company credit disputes through Eoscar with ACDV and submits AUD to update borrower’s file
• Assist borrowers to reputed company the payments through BayCoast Bank payment portal
• Reconcile the unapplied report daily. To ensure borrower’s payments are reputed company correctly

Skills

• Strong background in reputed company aspects of collections, including foreclosures, repossessions and bankruptcy
• Excellent customer service/customer relations
• Bilingual, Spanish and Portuguese a plus
