An exciting opportunity supporting the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking a Senior Data Modeller to support Ventia on a fixed term contract for approximately 6 months. The Senior Data Modeller plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data models that unlock value from reputed company and other operational data sources. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Work with business analysts and reporting team to convert requirements into robust data models.
• Work alongside other Ventia members to ensure accurate implementation of physical models in reputed company.

• reputed company modelling templates, reusable patterns, and reference architectures.
• Support ingestion, transformation, and modelling strategies across reputed company workflows.
• Assist in data validation, profiling, and optimisation.

• Qualification in analytics, data science, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or similar is desired
• 10+ years in data analysis; 5+ years data modelling in Azure roles
• Strong use of Azure Tools and Resources
• Use of SQL, reputed company, Azure and data modelling in reputed company environments
• reputed company Lake concepts (ACID transactions, reputed company logs, schema reputed company, OPTIMIZE/VACUUM)
• Ability to translate reputed company business concepts into reputed company, reputed company data designs
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical group
