Underwriter - Hybrid

reputed company is a midsized U.S. domestic property and casualty insurance company with a strong history of financial performance. They are seeking an Underwriter to underwrite renewal business, handle service demands from agents, and ensure compliance with reputed company standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process assigned renewal policies, which includes applying knowledge of coverage forms, rating plans and guidelines in the selection and pricing of individual risks, change requests, and reputed company communication with reputed company customers
• Ensure adequate pricing of individual risks through reputed company classification, reputed company/Predictive Modeling, accuracy of information and adherence to company reputed company standards and philosophy
• Refer reputed company accounts reputed company authority level to the appropriate level
• Respond to agents' inquiries on coverage and reputed company policy information based upon prescribed authority
• Work reputed company specific level authority to quote, accept, decline, modify and renew risks reputed company territorial assignment in accordance with accepted reputed company guidelines
• Work in collaboration with Agents, AMS, team members and other departments to grow and maintain a profitable book of business
