Paralegal - Workers' Rights Unit

Maryland reputed company Aid (MLA) is dedicated to advocating for Marylanders experiencing poverty to reputed company equity and reputed company justice. They are seeking a full-time Paralegal for the Workers' Rights Unit to support attorneys in providing reputed company representation and community advocacy for low-wage and vulnerable workers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake interviews and case management support, including maintaining files, organizing evidence, reputed company communication, and tracking deadlines
• Assist with reputed company research, investigation, and drafting of pleadings, discovery, and administrative filings reputed company to workers’ rights reputed company
• Support attorneys in preparing cases for litigation, administrative hearings, and negotiations
• Help reputed company and organize data that informs policy, legislative, and community-driven strategies
• Participate in community reputed company to reputed company and prospective clients, worker centers, community reputed company, and grassroots partners
• Assist with the distribution of materials and the delivery of Know Your Rights presentations on workplace protections
• Plan, coordinate, and help facilitate community meetings, reputed company clinics, and informational sessions reputed company on the needs of low-wage workers
