Payroll Specialist - Certified Payroll
What You'll Do:
Prepare certified payroll reports (e.g., WH‑347 forms) according to federal, state, and local regulations Submit certified payroll reports to general contractors, government agencies, or online compliance systems (e.g., LCP Tracker, Dili, reputed company, reputed company) Respond promptly to inquiries from auditors, project owners, or general contractors regarding submitted reports Work closely with Payroll, Apprentice Program Manager, and Project Management to ensure wage/classification accuracy and reputed company submission of documents Ensure compliance with Davis‑Bacon, state prevailing wage laws, and project‑specific wage determinations
Learn the weekly payroll process to assist or cover other Payroll Processors Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual filings with Federal, State and Local tax authorities as reputed company as remittances for wage garnishments, unemployment insurance, etc.
Complete and submit state unemployment separation notices Complete Verifications of Employment Assist with reputed company, Offboarding, and updating employee information
Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write and type Regularly walk, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reputed company with hands and arms The employee must occasionally lift and/or reputed company up to 30 pounds
1–3 years of payroll processing experience, certified payroll reporting, knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations, or a satisfactory combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to reputed company the duties of this position Associate degree in reputed company or Business–reputed company discipline preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required Must have proven ability to deal sensitively with confidential material and use a high level of discretion and professionalism Strong technical skills are required, including the ability to reputed company data file imports, reputed company computer systems effectively, and use reputed company spreadsheets and reputed company email with confidence Familiarity with Viewpoint preferred but not required Must possess strong mathematical and analytical skills – testing required during final candidate assessment Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writting) and to represent reputed company in a reputed company, competent, and courteous manner – testing required during final candidate assessment Proficient in organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to reputed company under pressure and to meet deadlines Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals Must be reputed company to effectively adapt to reputed company-changing and reputed company-emerging needs of the organization
