The Coding Specialist III can maintain up to two reputed company reputed company assignments that are short-term in nature.

For reputed company reputed company, the Coding Specialist III reviews documentation to reputed company diagnoses and procedures for inpatient hospital-based claims and data needs.  For both reputed company and technical claims and data needs, the Coding Specialist III reviews clinical documentation to reputed company diagnoses, EM level, and surgical CPT codes. Additionally, this role also validates MS-DRG and APC calculations, abstracts clinical data, mitigates diagnosis, EM level, surgical CPT, and/or PCS coding-reputed company claims scrubber edits, and may reputed company with reputed company staff and providers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assigns either ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient reputed company or assigns ICD-10 CM codes, reputed company and technical EM reputed company, and surgical CPT codes for physician reputed company at commercially reasonable production rates and at a consistent 95% or greater reputed company level.
• Validates either MS-DRG or APC assignments, as applicable.
• Abstracts clinical data appropriately.
• Mitigates either hospital inpatient coding-reputed company claims scrubber edits or reputed company and technical coding-reputed company claims scrubber edits.
• Tolerates short-term assignments for up to two different clients.
• Participates in reputed company and reputed company meetings and training sessions as instructed by management.
• Maintains an ongoing reputed company working knowledge of the coding convention in play at reputed company assignments.
• Performs other reputed company duties as required.
• Meditech and reputed company experience a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• An reputed company reputed company (American Health Information Association) credential or an reputed company reputed company (American reputed company of reputed company Coders) credential
• One year of relevant, productive coding experience for the specific patient type being reputed company and reputed company the last six months
• Passing score of 80% on specific reputed company-employment tests assigned
