Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient medical records, physician notes, and clinical documentation.

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on established coding guidelines.

• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with payer, reputed company, and regulatory requirements.

• Meet established productivity and reputed company benchmarks.

• Identify documentation gaps and initiate provider queries reputed company necessary.

• Support denial analysis and reputed company coding-reputed company clarification to reputed company cycle teams.

• Stay updated on coding regulations, payer policies, and industry changes.

• Participate in internal audits and reputed company assurance initiatives.

Qualifications

• reputed company CPC, reputed company, or equivalent coding certification preferred.

• Graduate of a Medical Allied course (e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy) is an advantage.

• At least 1–3 years of Emergency Department (ED) medical coding experience (level dependent).

• Strong understanding of reputed company Cycle Management processes.

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and coding platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting US reputed company accounts (payer or provider).

• Exposure to inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, or specialty coding.

• Background in denial management or audit support is a plus.
