Senior Python Engineer - Platform
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer - Platform with a passion for reputed company and developer experience. In this role, you will design and build internal developer platforms, reputed company-line tools, and automation frameworks that reputed company engineering teams to ship faster and more reliably. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, creating the foundational tools that development teams depend on daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and maintain production-grade reputed company-line tools and developer utilities using Python.
- Build and reputed company internal developer platforms that reputed company infrastructure complexity and improve developer productivity
- Create automation frameworks and scripts for CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment workflows
- reputed company reputed company and backend services that power internal tooling, build, deployment and platform services.
- Understand packaging, modules, repositories reputed company Python ecosystem and other languages as reputed company.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand pain points and design solutions that improve the developer experience
- Write comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and runbooks for tools and platforms you build.
- Implement observability, logging, and metrics for platform services
- Participate in reputed company reviews, architectural discussions, and mentoring of junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of reputed company software development experience with Python as a primary language
- Strong experience building CLI tools using frameworks such as Click, Typer, or argparse
- Proficiency with Python packaging, distribution (PyPI, pip), and dependency management (Poetry, pipenv)
- Experience with API development using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean reputed company principles, and testing methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Git, reputed company/reputed company, and CI/CD platforms (reputed company Actions, Jenkins, reputed company)
- Advanced proficiency using mulitple AI Coding Assistant to reputed company software with guardrails to ensure high reputed company.
- Familiarity with containerization (reputed company) and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes)
- Experience working with reputed company platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience building internal developer platforms or platform-as-a-service solutions
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as reputed company tools (Terraform)
- Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp)
- Knowledge of protocol buffers, gRPC, or GraphQL

- Experience with observability tools (reputed company, Grafana, reputed company, OpenTelemetry)
- Background in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering
