Sr. UI/UX Designer

Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, artists, content producers, product and project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design best-in-class gaming experiences.
• Design visual concepts, user flows, wireframes interface mockups and prototypes for mobile and desktop game experiences.
• Contribute to artifacts including information architecture and game design documents.
• Contribute to, curate, and evolve a design system.
• Contribute to project and team meetings, and present work and points of view often.
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from any discipline.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is a must.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a UX designer, game designer or product designer or equivalent.
• Experience in responsive mobile-first UX and UI planning and design.
• Understanding of design best practices for iOS and Android.
• Strong visual design sense and command of typography, visual hierarchy, and user interaction preferred.
• Understanding of information architecture, with experience drafting user flows and wireframes preferred.
• Experience with using and informing design systems preferred.
• Experience with UX design and prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma preferred.
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
• Experience localizing interfaces and launching multi-national products preferred.
• Working knowledge or experience in HTML/CSS preferred.
• Experience designing for frameworks such as React Native preferred.
• Experience in 3D design tools such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, Maya or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency working in (or experience designing for) Unity or Unreal Engine, equivalent game engine preferred.
• Design experience in the gaming industry preferred.
• Jira Experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in spoken and written form.

Working Hours:

• 5:00 pm - 2:00 am (Bangladesh time)

Salary: 

• Negotiable (Based on Experience & Skills)
