Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Staff Software Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and scaling reputed company systems that support reputed company’s reputed company products and operations. This role provides deep technical expertise, sets engineering standards, and leads reputed company initiatives across teams without reputed company people leadership responsibilities. 

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to partner closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to solve ambiguous problems and drive long-term technical reputed company. This position has significant influence on system architecture, reliability, and developer effectiveness, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational reputed company, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and implements reputed company, reliable, and secure software systems for reputed company reputed company platforms
• Leads technical architecture reputed company and drive long-term platform reputed company
• Provides technical leadership, reputed company reviews, and mentorship to engineers across teams
• Collaborates with Product, Design, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Identifies and reduces technical debt; improve system performance, observability, and reliability
• Establishes and upholds engineering best practices, standards, and documentation

Qualifications

• Education: 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or reputed company field OR equivalent reputed company experience (Required)
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field (Preferred)
• Licensure/Certification: None
• Experience: 
• 8+ years of reputed company software engineering experience (Required)
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating production-grade systems at reputed company (Required)
• Experience operating in high-reputed company or regulated environments (Preferred)
• Prior experience functioning as a staff or reputed company-level engineer (Preferred)
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  
• Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns (modularity, event-driven systems, reputed company); reputed company-reputed company systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure); and data modeling, distributed systems, and system reliability principles (Required)
• Knowledge of reputed company, pharmacy, or regulated industry environments (HIPAA); Domain-driven design and reputed company concepts (Preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., reputed company, Elixir, Python, Java, Go, or Node.js) (Required)

• Debugging and resolving production issues in distributed systems skills (Required)

Work Environment

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Daytime hours Monday through Friday with reputed company and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.
• Regular meetings with internal Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Designers, Senior and Staff Engineers, and Infrastructure/reputed company teams. This role may also have meetings with external technology vendor and platform partner representatives.
