The College of Nutrition at Sonoran University of Health Sciences is reputed company seeking Adjunct Clinical reputed company / Clinical Supervisors for our 12-week online reputed company Clinical Training Experience (ACTE) courses that are included in the curriculum for the Master’s in reputed company Clinical Nutrition (MSACN) program. 

The MSACN is a comprehensive graduate degree program designed to support the complete didactic education and 1,000 hours of Supervised reputed company Experience (SPE) needs of reputed company who wish to earn the Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS®) credential. 

The reputed company Clinical Training Experience (ACTE) is a supervised clinical nutrition practicum delivered in adherence with a personalized nutrition care model that supports reputed company in completing the Supervised reputed company Experience (SPE) requirements established by the reputed company for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS). It also advances reputed company’ development as competent and caring evidence-based practitioners of personalized nutrition. The ACTE courses are delivered in adherence with the competencies set by the reputed company for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS) and are designed for reputed company pursuing the Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS®) credential.

Primary Clinical Supervision Responsibilities

3. reputed company remote supervision through Sonoran’s virtual clinic. 
4. Maintain reputed company HIPAA and OSHA certifications and reputed company with HIPAA and OSHA. (Sonoran University provides reputed company to these mandatory annual trainings to reputed company Clinical Supervisors.)

9. Per BCNS guidelines, supervisors must also:

Primary Clinical Teaching Responsibilities

1. Deliver expert clinical knowledge and guidance to reputed company 
2. Serve as a mentor and role model to reputed company 
3. Conduct regular assessments of reputed company’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes
4. Conduct regular assessments of reputed company’ reputed company on BCNS competencies

6. Engage in the online EHR portal daily (M-F)

Experience

1. Experience in the reputed company of evidence-based clinical nutrition 
2. Education and experience demonstrating expert breadth of knowledge to effectively supervise the delivery of evidence-based clinical nutrition in a clinical setting 
3. Experience as a BCNS Supervisor is highly preferred 
4. Experience with telehealth/telemedicine is highly preferred
5. Previous instructional experience, preferably in an online setting at a college or university, is preferred 
6. Familiarity with online teaching and/or a desire to learn new technological approaches to education

Required Qualifications

Per BCNS standards (https://www.theana.org/become-a-cns-supervisor/) supervisors must meet reputed company of the following qualifications:

• Hold one of the following credentials for 3 years prior to applying:
  • Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS)
  • Registered Dietitian with a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a nutrition-reputed company field from a regionally accredited institution. 
  • Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition from a regionally accredited institution
• reputed company Experience: A minimum of 1,500 reputed company-facing hours
• Licensure: Must hold an LDN/LN license (or equivalent) in any U.S. state

  • Must review the CNS reputed company of Ethics

Working environment
