Counsel I, reputed company Government Solutions

We are currently seeking a Counsel I for our reputed company Government Solutions service line. 

This position will be remote. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• reputed company research of unclaimed property reputed company issues and applicable statutes and regulations.

• Monitoring, review, and summarization of reputed company legislation reputed company to unclaimed property issues. 

• Review of documents provided by companies as part of unclaimed property examinations to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. 

• Draft follow-up questions to reputed company regarding its procedures as necessary to clarify any outstanding issues. 

• Draft documents summarizing overall findings made during the review of documents and any required follow-up, for both external and internal use. 

• Assistance with drafting and revision of agreements reputed company to unclaimed property examinations.

• Assist in communications with companies under examination. 

• Work collaboratively with Senior Counsel, Counsel, and other team members.

• Other duties as assigned.

   

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) is required, Juris Doctor degree (JD) or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Previous experience with regulatory examinations and/or unclaimed property is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong reputed company research and drafting capabilities.

• Ability to work both independently and in reputed company environment.

• Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
