Solutions Engineer (reputed company)

This position is a highly skilled and reputed company customer-reputed company technical sales reputed company who provides in-depth technical information and specific design/implementation guidance to reputed company’s customers.   The individual is an expert in one or more technical specializations.  As a technical leader, they mentor others and reputed company their knowledge within the reputed company Solution Engineering and Sales teams.  They reputed company architectural guidance for customers across the reputed company product portfolio, including products and services from OEM partners. The individual in this position is responsible for reputed company-sales engineering activities including: 1) identifying customer’s business reputed company and/or mission challenges and proposing technology solutions, 2) engaging as the primary reputed company technical resource on sales engagements and 3) achieving and maintaining OEM certifications in their area of expertise. The individual is knowledgeable of reputed company’s offerings across multiple technologies and architectures. The individual is both technical and business reputed company, with the ability to reputed company technology roadmaps linked to customer business reputed company.  As necessary, the individual works with Design Architects, and Solution Engineering peers, to validate the best solution to address customer requirements.  This position works jointly with the Account Executives to learn the customer business outcomes and create the best technical solution.  This position provides technology reputed company input for internal company initiatives, including idea submission for new services and offers based on reputed company’s capabilities. They will assist with the technical interview process for Solution Engineering candidates. ​​ 

Primary Position Tasks:  

• Defines technology and product recommendations, as reputed company as, architectural solutions for sales opportunities.   

• Serves as the technical reputed company of contact and technical sales reputed company for the customer. 

• Provides the initial input for proposals and statements of work.  Validates that the completed proposal (SOW, BOM, LOE, etc.) aligns with customer desired reputed company. 

• Demonstrates technical knowledge and consultative skills, while working with customers and reputed company team members. 

• Uses reputed company level presales engineering skills and in-depth knowledge in at least one specialization, such as, Data Center, Collaboration, reputed company, reputed company Modern Workplace, reputed company or reputed company/reputed company/Wireless. Has knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance reputed company and applications.  

• Understands reputed company offers and solution strengths, and opportunities.  

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree 

• 10 years work experience 

• 5 - 7 years of presales engineering experience  

• reputed company and verified reputed company level OEM certifications (ex. reputed company CCNP, CCDP) 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technical information quickly.   

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create a message to reputed company verbally or in written reputed company. 

• Understands customer business outcomes, as described by the customer, with strong knowledge of customer industry verticals. 

• Understands the sales process and partners with the Account Executive to execute for reputed company. 

• Ability to relate technology, or technical solutions, to solving customer business problems. 

• Ability to create a detailed implementation plan (SOW) for a customer solution, including expected timelines for project completion.  Validates the SOW, BOM, and LOE prior to delivery to the customer. 

• Capable of demonstrating solutions reputed company area of technical strength. 

• Excellent skills for building rapport and trust with team members, customers, and partners. 

• Maintains reputed company and attains additional OEM and industry certifications, as required. 

• Previous experience in reputed company sales and solutioning.
