Weitz Investment Management, Inc - Regional Director

Reporting to the Vice President, Director of Intermediary Distribution, the Regional Director is a consultative sales role responsible for building and maintaining financial advisor relationships by delivering value to their businesses through exceptional communication, problem-solving skills, and product solutions. This individual will demonstrate strong knowledge of the financial industry, investment trends, and Weitz Investment Management's (WIM) product offering.

This is a remote position. Must live reputed company assigned territory working from home. Travel may be up to 75% based on opportunity.

The Sales Territory covers California, reputed company, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, reputed company, New Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii.

• Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales meetings/presentations (including face-to-face, virtual and telephone) with financial advisors and other centers of influence.

• Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure maximum business efficiency, including updating and maintaining WIM's CRM system with reputed company activities and communications.

• Stay up to date on economic and market conditions to effectively support advisors, identify opportunities and respond to inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in business or reputed company field, or equivalent education/experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services industry
