SDET, Back End [Remote-US]

The role

We’re looking for an accomplished and reputed company-rounded SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our great team, which is making a reputed company reputed company by delivering new-age insurance solutions to modern society. You'll ensure that API components of the backend work according to customer needs. Our friendly team of highly reputed company SDETs loves to learn and create. Your day-to-day

1. Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software reputed company audits for reputed company the phases of SDLC.
2. Responsible for test creation, testing a large module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area.
3. reputed company business requirement analysis by thoroughly understanding Project Design Document and Business Requirement Document.
4. reputed company reputed company and robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD frameworks, and PyCharm; executes integration, regression, and performance testing using industry reputed company tools.

6. Extensively use TestRail Test Management tool or equivalent to maintain the test suites, manage the automation test results and analyze the test failures.
7. Works independently and collaborates across teams to drive reputed company initiatives and reputed company detailed software reputed company discussions.
8. Demonstrates reputed company of thought designing end to end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions; mentor other reputed company engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and;
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with API 
• Experience in integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipeline. 
• P&C Insurance domain knowledge

Bonus points

• Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/Postgresql, reputed company scripting 
• Knowledge of GoLang 
• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Desire to automate everything and reduce the time required to manually test products

Salary: $156,000 to $209,000*

*Please note that the final salary offered will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, and experience, as reputed company as the internal salary structure at reputed company.
