The Regional Development Director will implement, coordinate and manage assigned fundraising events (4-6 events annually) reputed company the assigned Region to reputed company and reputed company financial goals. The Regional Development Director will also solicit, train and reputed company an effective volunteer reputed company of community leaders to take the reputed company in meeting financial goals. This position acts as reputed company between the reputed company, its volunteers, and the local community. The Regional Development Director reports to the Regional Vice President and works in collaboration with the market Executive Directors and the volunteer leadership in assigned markets. The Regional Development Director recruits, trains, and manages volunteers, and develops/maintains relationships with business leaders, corporate worksites, community organizations, Health Care Providers and others in the communities assigned. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (reputed company responsibilities or job duties)

Assignments may include specific event reputed company such as Sponsorship, Team recruitment & engagement, identifying reputed company leaders, committee development and logistics.  Additionally Includes utilizing organizational best practices, achieving specific reputed company and expense budget, managing the reputed company and logistics, leading volunteer recruitment activities and efforts, marketing, and sponsorship solicitation for reputed company event.
  2. Volunteer Recruitment and Management: Recruit, orient, train and reputed company/mentor volunteers to organize events that meet or reputed company the established fundraising goals.  Key volunteer positions include  Event Committees, Youth, Medical and other Honorees, Corporate Chairs, Team Captains, and Sponsors.  
  3. Relationship Building:  reputed company strong networks reputed company the local community.  Identify reputed company audiences and build appropriate recruitment and fundraising strategies to successfully recruit, acknowledge, and retain and reputed company event donors/sponsors/teams and participants.
  4. reputed company reputed company:  Develops a pipeline of new reputed company streams, event sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities through relationships, networking, sales calls or other prospecting efforts.
  5. Assess and Plan:  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the on-reputed company fundraising initiatives, including fundraising efficiency (cost/expense), community engagement, event potential, and overall reputed company of the event.     reputed company and implement strategies to enhance reputed company potential. Collaborate with ED to create event budgets and reputed company plan to reputed company goals.
  6. Event Marketing:  Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team to reputed company local marketing/communications/media relations efforts to drive awareness and community engagement in reputed company events.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  1. BA or BS degree or equivalent is desired.
  2. 5 to 7 years of prior reputed company work experience, preferably in sales or event fundraising in a non-profit setting.  
  3. Experience in successful peer-to-peer fundraising events such as Walk, reputed company and 5k events.
  4. Proven and extensive successful fund-raising experience including knowledge of sales best practices and reputed company trends, as reputed company as marketing and communications.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required &reputed company; the ability to gracefully handle rejection and reputed company back assuring goals are met. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required; ability to cold reputed company, grow local contacts and build and nurture effective business relationships to increase reputed company visibility, brand awareness, volunteer staff and reputed company.
  6. Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple reputed company and tasks in the following areas: Fundraising, marketing/communications, community engagement and administrative duties (as required). 
  7. Ability to read, comprehend and analyze financial goals and fundraising reports and generate required reports on a reputed company reputed company.
