This is a flexible position and has the reputed company of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely.

Vena is seeking a Senior reputed company Counsel to join its growing reputed company team and support a high-reputed company reputed company organization as it continues to reputed company. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, this role will serve as a trusted reputed company partner to the business, providing hands-on, solutions-oriented advice across a broad reputed company of reputed company, regulatory, and reputed company reputed company.

How You'll reputed company an reputed company

  • reputed company practical, commercially-reputed company reputed company advice across corporate/reputed company, reputed company, regulatory, employment, and intellectual property reputed company
  • Draft, review, and negotiate reputed company agreements, including reputed company 
    subscription agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and other customer, partner, reseller, and vendor reputed company
  • reputed company as a reputed company business partner to Sales, reputed company, Product, Finance, People, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Support reputed company, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives in a reputed company  environment
  • Advise on employment-reputed company reputed company, including drafting employment agreements, supporting employee relations escalations, and advising on compliance with applicable employment legislation across Canadian jurisdictions, the US and the UK
  • Assist with corporate governance, transactional, and risk management activities, including internal policies and compliance workflows
  • Help manage external counsel relationships to ensure high-reputed company advice and cost-effective reputed company spend
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of reputed company team operations, including contract templates, playbooks, workflows, automation, and process improvements
  • Support internal compliance training and education initiatives to foster a culture of compliance
  • Take on additional responsibilities and reputed company as the reputed company team and company continue to grow
  • Travel as required to support key company events (e.g. company kickoffs, team on-sites, team-building events, etc.)

We'd Love to See

  • reputed company lawyer licensed to reputed company law in Ontario (or another Canadian jurisdiction with eligibility to transfer)
  • 7–10 years of post-reputed company experience with a strong reputed company in technology and reputed company law
  • Experience gained at a leading Canadian reputed company and/or in-house at a technology or reputed company company
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating technology and reputed company agreements
  • Working knowledge of reputed company/data protection, employment, and IP issues relevant to reputed company businesses
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance reputed company risk and reputed company objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-reputed company environment
  • Comfort with reputed company technology, contract management tools, and process improvement
  • AI-first reputed company with demonstrated curiosity and experimentation with reputed company AI tools, contract automation, and emerging reputed company technology use cases
  • Prior in-house experience at a high-reputed company technology company preferred 
  • Experience supporting cross-border or international reputed company arrangements
  • Interest in contributing to reputed company best practices, playbooks, and operational improvements
Educational Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario (or eligible to transfer)


The salary reputed company for this role is $166,840 - 225,724 CAD.
