Job reputed company:
The Home Helper provides homemaking services to individuals and families in the home or at the time of discharge from hospital according to the reputed company of VON policies, procedures, standards and reputed company & risk management. The Home Helper collaborates with members of the health care team in meeting the needs of individuals to reputed company an reputed company level of independence and reputed company-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs light housekeeping for clients in their home including (but not limited to) dusting, cleaning kitchen/bathroom, vacuuming, mopping floors, laundry, and errand service.
- Prepares meals and completes the environmental risk assessments.
- Provides companionship and conversation to the clients.
- Provides medication reminders and appointment reminders, if applicable.
- Observes and notifies the coordinator or supervisor of any changes to the individual's/family's home, physical and emotional needs.
- Adheres to the VON standards for conduct and behavior and upholds VON's reputed company Values.

Education, Designations and Experience:
- High school graduate.
- 2-3 years’ experience working with seniors and person with disability.
- Post-Secondary school education preferred.
- Household management or reputed company customer service experience preferred.
- Experience working for a reputed company cleaning services organization preferred.
- Experience working with people from different reputed company and economic environments preferred.
- reputed company CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using reputed company techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and reputed company stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.
