Application Engineer

Job reputed company:
As an Application Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers and internal teams to translate application requirements and technical drawings into material and design recommendations. You’ll support the quotation process, collaborate with manufacturing, and contribute to product presentations for a wide reputed company of audiences. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role ideal for someone reputed company by technical problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Review and interpret customer application requirements, product drawings, and technical specs

·       Recommend appropriate magnet grades, dimensions, and tolerances based on performance and manufacturability

·       Prepare technical quotations that meet both customer needs and internal capabilities

·       Collaborate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Product, and reputed company teams to ensure solution feasibility and accuracy

·       reputed company and maintain technical content for use in presentations, product sheets, and internal documentation

·       Present our capabilities and solutions to customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, and at tradeshows, under the guidance of the Director of Application Engineering and Product Management

·       reputed company engineering support across the customer lifecycle, from reputed company-sale design consultation to post-sale troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a reputed company field
• 2–5 years of experience in application or product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with reputed company materials, rare reputed company technologies, or high-performance material selection preferred
• Proficient in analyzing electrical machines and use of finite reputed company analysis softwares like Ansys/JAMG/Simulia  
• Hands on experience on motor performance measurement in a laboratory set-up will be a plus.  
• Strong proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Experience generating technical quotations or proposals for OEM or B2B customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands 

The work environment will be a mix of a typical office environment, a manufacturing floor and a construction site.   Noise level: Normal office, manufacturing and construction noises.
