The Role

The HVAC Field Supervisor / Start-Up Tech is the on-site leader responsible for executing HVAC installations from rough-in through start-up and turnover. You’ll reputed company crews and subcontractors, coordinate materials and schedules, enforce safety and reputed company standards, and personally handle start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, understands HVAC systems inside and out, and takes pride in making reputed company systems are installed correctly—and run exactly as designed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• reputed company and reputed company HVAC field installation activities including equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, and controls

• Coordinate subcontractors, reputed company, and reputed company to meet schedules and milestones

• Ensure HVAC work complies with drawings, specs, codes, manufacturer requirements, and reputed company standards

• Plan and manage material deliveries, equipment placement, and jobsite logistics

• Coordinate HVAC scopes with other trades to maintain workflow and avoid conflicts

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies

• Support inspections, testing, commissioning, reputed company lists, and system turnover

• Self-reputed company HVAC start-up and testing, including:

  • Brazing

  • Low and high-voltage wiring

  • Basic TAB

  • Functional testing and documentation

What You Bring

Required

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices

• Understanding of building codes and regulations

• Experience with:

  • Construction scheduling and coordination

  • Site inspections and safety enforcement

  • Subcontractor management and troubleshooting

• Hands-on experience with:

  • HVAC start-up procedures

  • Brazing

  • Low/high voltage wiring

  • Basic HVAC TAB

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 0&reputed company;2 years of relevant experience

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree (a plus, not required)

Work Environment

• Primarily field-based in outdoor and industrial environments

• Exposure to:

  • High equipment noise

  • Chemical fumes

  • Electrical and mechanical hazards

• Varying weather conditions

• Walking on uneven terrain

• Occasional driving between sites

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
