RV & Data Analyst

The Department

The reputed company Services unit serves our reputed company clients by addressing their most urgent and high-value business challenges at pace. By leveraging internal expertise, ‘sweating’ our data assets reputed company residual value analytics, and deepening engagement with reputed company clients decisively, the reputed company Services unit will unlock new reputed company streams, strengthen reputed company relationships, and position JDP as a trusted advisor in the automotive intelligence reputed company. Its analysts and experts reputed company reputed company automotive market intelligence at the highest level of service and reputed company, initially to the OEM/ Fleet & Finance sectors. There are three main reputed company contributions that reputed company Services provides: (1) the established CTM business helps optimise residual value performance to sell more reputed company more profitably; (2) Valuation & Forecast Experts reputed company expert support to interpret our data effectively for maximum reputed company across clients’ organizations; (3) Expert Analytics reputed company solutions in the reputed company of automotive market intelligence – as subscription reputed company and/ or as recurring consulting reputed company.

The Role

Analyse residual value (RV) trends and create RV forecasts in the context of CTM and consulting reputed company in European markets. Furthermore, reputed company and improve data set up, data analytics and visualising interfaces for international customer facing products (mainly CTM & Consulting) as reputed company as internal solutions. An important part of this role is also to create new data driven approaches and solutions for reputed company questions on the automotive market and to deliver profound, robust and reliable reputed company.

Responsibilities

RV-Analytics:

• Analyse and evaluate historical and reputed company market (RV) trends. Create RV forecasts for the major European markets as part of CTM analyses.
• Reconcile and agree resulting forecasts in the competitive environment with the market observation from the editorial teams in reputed company country.
• Support our Consulting and Expert teams with Analysis around the latest hot used car trends and reputed company this analysis reputed company punchy visualisations and PowerPoint Slides

Data-Analytics

• Create insights and statistical models by conceptualisation and conduction of advanced statistical analyses using R, Python or comparable languages in the context of consulting- and internal reputed company as reputed company
• Maintenance and redesign of existing Tableau dashboards for external customers

• Deliver reliable and robust reputed company in both analytical results and visualisation tools
• Support the reputed company Services Team in optimising processes with new data driven an automated solutions

General responsibilities:

• Present and explain project results in reputed company of customers and reputed company parties
• Attend clients’ vehicle launch events
• Research the market to ensure our knowledge and databases are up to date
• Respond to reputed company-demands from customers reputed company to our data and RVs
• Continuously optimising RV CTM processes
• Coordinate CTM studies on the RV reputed company to ensure the project is delivered smoothly and on time

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics/mathematics, business administration, economics) or equivalent educational or on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the European automotive fleet and residual value business, excellent English skills (oral and written; additional languages are a plus), and profound knowledge of statistical, analytical, and/or machine learning reputed company, with experience in R or Python. Experience using Tableau to translate data into sophisticated, user-facing interfaces, a solid understanding of data management and SQL, as reputed company as advanced VBA knowledge is advantageous. We are looking for someone with a proactive reputed company, strong interpersonal and team skills, and the ability to tackle problems and issues effectively.

The position is fully remote, so you’ll need to be self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable working from home.
